Pulse | 2025-11-04

From 13 to 17 October 2024, the head of the project “Research on Petty Corruption in the Lithuanian Healthcare Sector (PULSE)”, Prof. Dr. Raminta Pučėtaitė, together with project team members Dr. Jūratė Budrienė and Dr. Donata Jovarauskienė, visited Switzerland.

During the visit, the researchers met with experts from the Center for the Study of Corruption at the University of Geneva (Université de Genève) and the Institute of Communication and Public Policy at the University of Lugano (Università della Svizzera italiana) to discuss opportunities for collaboration and further development of the project’s research themes in an international context.

During the internship, the results of the PULSE, funded by the Research Council of Lithuania (LMT), were presented to university representatives. The presentation focused on the manifestation of petty corruption in the context of healthcare organizations in democratic countries. The research experience was also shared with master’s students of the Public Administration study programme. The visit provided an opportunity to discuss how the research findings could be integrated into academic research and teaching, as well as to explore new directions for international cooperation and partnership building.
